Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

Your adventure with us begins with a scenic drive from Nairobi through the stunning Great Rift Valley. Along the way, you’ll stop at a viewpoint to take in the breathtaking panoramic views. Upon entering Lake Nakuru National Park, your exploration begins with an en route game drive as you make your way to the lodge. A long the way, you’ll be introduced to  the park’s rich wildlife, including the iconic pink flamingos that line the shores of the lake. You’ll also have the chance to spot Rothschild giraffes, rhinos, buffaloes, and zebras, all thriving in the park’s diverse ecosystems. This drive provides an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the park’s beauty right from the start.

After arriving at your lodge, whether it’s Sarova Lion Hill, Lake Nakuru Lodge, or another comfortable option, you’ll enjoy a relaxing lunch. In the afternoon, you’ll set off on another game drive, this time venturing deeper into the park. You’ll visit prime spots for observing lions, leopards, and rhinos while soaking in the stunning landscapes. A highlight of the day is a visit to Baboon Cliff, offering panoramic views of the park and the shimmering lake. As the sun sets, you’ll return to the lodge to relax, enjoy dinner, and prepare for another exciting day ahead.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru National Park to Nairobi

The day begins with a refreshing morning game drive, offering excellent opportunities to see the park’s wildlife during their most active hours. You’ll explore different areas of the park, looking out for more wildlife, including lions, leopards, and large herds of buffaloes. Birdwatching enthusiasts will also appreciate the variety of bird species around the lake. After the game drive, you’ll return to the lodge for breakfast before beginning your journey back to Nairobi, reflecting on the incredible experiences and wildlife encounters you’ve had on your two-day safari with us.
