Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park Your adventure with us begins as you leave Nairobi in the morning, heading southeast towards Amboseli National Park, famed for its majestic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. As you approach the park, the iconic peak of Kilimanjaro stands tall on the horizon, offering breathtaking scenery that sets the tone for your safari. Upon arrival, enjoy an en route game drive, where you’ll begin spotting wildlife right away—herds of elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and antelopes are often seen grazing against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain. After reaching your lodge or camp, such as Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge or a similar option, settle in and enjoy a relaxing lunch. In the afternoon, embark on another game drive, exploring the park’s famous elephant herds up close, as well as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and buffaloes. The swamps and marshes, fed by Kilimanjaro’s melting snow, are a haven for birdlife, with flamingos, pelicans, and a variety of waterfowl. After an exciting afternoon, return to your lodge for dinner and an evening of relaxation, with views of the sun setting over Kilimanjaro.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park to Nairobi Begin the day with an early morning game drive, the best time to catch animals in action as the park comes to life with the rising sun. Watch as elephants trek across the plains, and keep an eye out for elusive predators like lions and leopards. You’ll also have the opportunity to take in the stunning vistas of Mount Kilimanjaro bathed in the soft morning light, perfect for photography. After the game drive, return to your lodge for breakfast before checking out. You’ll have time for one last en route game drive as you leave the park, bidding farewell to the wildlife and the iconic Kilimanjaro views. You’ll then begin your journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon with unforgettable memories of your Amboseli adventure.
