From astonishing wildlife sightings in the endless savanna plains to unforgettable encounters with large apes in the tropical forests, this 11 days Best of Uganda Safari is one of its kind. The long 10 nights/11 days safari begins and ends in Kampala or Entebbe.
Activities include: Rhino tracking, gorilla trekking, chimpanzee tracking, golden monkey tracking, boat cruise, cultural encounters, bird sighting and more. Destinations covered: Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Murchison Falls, Lake Mburo, Kibale, and more.
Day 1: Arrival in Kampala
Arrival at Entebbe International Airport, meet your driver guide for briefing. Transfer to Kampala for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Kampala – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls
Breakfast then drive via Gulu highway to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (4 hours). Enjoy 2 hours of rhino tracking. Continue to Masindi for lunch, then proceed to Murchison Falls with a stop at the top of the falls.

Day 3: Game Drive & Boat Cruise – Murchison Falls
Morning game drive along northern tracks to see elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, Rothschild's giraffes, hyenas, and antelopes. Afternoon boat cruise along the Nile to spot hippos, crocodiles, and birds. Optional hike to the top of the falls.

Day 4: Murchison Falls – Kibale Forest
Early breakfast and drive via Hoima to Kibale Forest in Kabarole district. En-route stopover in Fort Portal. Packed lunch or lunch stopover provided. Scenic drive of 7-8 hours.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking & Community Walk – Kibale
Morning briefing at Kanyanchu Visitor Center before chimpanzee trekking (2-4 hours). Encounter chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Afternoon community walk to interact with locals.

Day 6: Kibale – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most popular park. En-route stopovers at the Queen’s Pavilion and Equator Monument. Evening game drive on arrival.

Day 7: Game Drive & Kazinga Boat Cruise – Queen Elizabeth
Morning game drive in Kasenyi plains to see lions, buffaloes, elephants, and antelopes. Afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel linking Lake Edward and Lake George, sighting hippos, crocodiles and birds.

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth – Bwindi via Ishasha Sector
Early breakfast and transfer to Bwindi through Ishasha sector to search for tree-climbing lions. Picnic lunch en-route and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for relaxation.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking & Community Visit – Bwindi
After breakfast, gather for briefing and allocation of gorilla families. Trek for 2-6 hours through Bwindi forest to find gorillas, spend 1 hour with them. Afternoon cultural/community visit.

Day 10: Bwindi – Lake Mburo National Park
