Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through the Great Rift Valley to the iconic Masai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch and later enjoy an afternoon game drive across the vast savannahs. Dinner and overnight at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.
Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara
Spend a full day in the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. Spot lions, elephants, giraffes, and possibly witness a wildlife hunt. Optional visit to a local Maasai village or a balloon safari. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha. Arrive for lunch and enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Optional activities include a boat ride to see hippos or a guided walk on Crescent Island. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge or similar.
Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park
Depart Naivasha and head south toward Amboseli National Park, known for its elephants and views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar.
Day 5: Full Day in Amboseli
Spend the day exploring Amboseli. Drive across the open plains and swampy areas while spotting herds of elephants, buffaloes, and various bird species. On a clear day, you’ll enjoy stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 6: Amboseli – Tsavo East National Park
Drive to the vast wilderness of Tsavo East National Park, famous for its red elephants and rugged landscapes. Arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Voi wildlife Lodge or similar.
Day 7: Full Day in Tsavo East
Spend the day exploring Tsavo East. Search for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and herds of elephants along the Galana River and savannahs. Visit popular spots like Aruba Dam. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 8: Tsavo East – Nairobi
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel or residence.
