This 10-day adventure blends Kenya’s premier safari highlights with a seamless coast drop-off. Begin with wildlife-rich days in the Masai Mara, pause by the freshwater shores of Lake Naivasha, continue to elephant-filled Amboseli under the gaze of Mt. Kilimanjaro, traverse the lava-forged landscapes of Tsavo West, and finish in the wide-open plains of Tsavo East before a comfortable transfer to Mombasa or Diani Beach.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
Depart Nairobi in the morning in your 4x4 Landcruiser and drive via the Great Rift Valley escarpment to the Masai Mara. Arrive for lunch and check-in. Afternoon game drive on the Mara’s sweeping plains in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, and more. Dinner & overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.
Day 2: Masai Mara – Full Day
Full day exploring the Masai Mara with varied habitats from acacia-dotted grasslands to riverine forest. Optional activities: sunrise balloon safari (pre-booking advised) or a cultural visit to a Maasai village. All meals and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, drive to Lake Naivasha. Arrive for lunch. Afternoon at leisure with optional boat ride to see hippos and birdlife or a guided Crescent Island nature walk (payable locally). Dinner & overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge or similar.
Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park
Head south to Amboseli National Park, famed for large elephant herds and views of Mt. Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). Arrive for lunch, then an afternoon game drive across open pans and swampy springs. Dinner & overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar.
Day 5: Amboseli – Full Day
Morning and afternoon exploration of Amboseli’s diverse zones—observation hill viewpoints, marshes, and acacia woodland. Look for elephants, buffalo, zebras, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and abundant birdlife. All meals and overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar.
Day 6: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park
Drive to Tsavo West. Highlights include Mzima Springs (crystal-clear pools fed by Mt. Kilimanjaro’s aquifer) and the Shetani lava flows. Afternoon game drive. Dinner & overnight at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge or similar.
Day 7: Tsavo West – Tsavo East National Park
After breakfast, continue to Tsavo East, renowned for its “red elephants” and expansive plains. Check-in and enjoy an afternoon game drive, with chances to visit Aruba Dam or the Galana River viewpoints. Dinner & overnight at Voi Safari Lodge or similar.
Day 8: Tsavo East – Mombasa
After breakfast, exit the park and travel by road to the coast.Upon arrival in Mombasa, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the beach, enjoying the warm coastal breeze and Indian Ocean views. Later, take a short evening walk along the sandy shores or enjoy a leisurely swim before settling in for dinner at the hotel.
Day 9: Mombasa city And Nature exploration
After breakfast, head out for a full-day exploration of Mombasa. Visit the historic Old Town with its narrow streets and Swahili architecture, Fort Jesus Museum, and the bustling spice markets. In the afternoon, drive to Haller Park or Mamba Village for a nature experience with giraffes, crocodiles, and other wildlife. Return to your hotel in the evening to relax and enjoy a sunset by the beach.
Day 10: Departure from Mombasa to Nairobi (Sgr)
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and some free time at the beach or pool before checking out. You will then be transferred to the Mombasa SGR train station for your scenic train journey back to Nairobi.
