Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Bush flight from Entebbe to Kasese airstrip – Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast at the hotel in Entebbe, transfer to the airport for a bush flight to Kasese airstrip. Departure is by 7:00am and arrival around 10:00am. Meet your safari driver for a briefing, then proceed to the lodge for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive where you may see elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks, Uganda Kobs, and warthogs. Return for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Game viewing and Boat Ride in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Embark on a thrilling game drive through the diverse landscapes of Queen Elizabeth. Expect to see lions, elephants, Uganda Kobs, warthogs, buffaloes, and spotted hyenas. After lunch, enjoy a boat ride along the Kazinga Channel where hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and birdlife abound.
Overnight: Same as Day 1.
Day 3: Drive to Bwindi via Ishasha sector
After breakfast, drive to Bwindi through the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. En route, expect to see Topis, Uganda Kobs, elephants, and buffaloes. Lunch at Savannah Resort Kihihi before continuing to Bwindi for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Mountain Gorilla Tracking & Community Walk
Begin with a briefing at the park headquarters and head out for an unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure. Spend an hour with the gorillas watching them feed, play, and groom each other. In the afternoon, enjoy a community walk to learn about the Batwa pygmies’ culture before returning to the lodge.
Day 5: Bush flight from Kihihi to Entebbe
Early morning transfer to Kihihi airstrip for a flight back to Entebbe, arriving around 11:25am. Depending on your schedule, you may do a short Entebbe town tour or proceed directly for your international flight.
