Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive north towards Nanyuki, enjoying views of Mount Kenya en route. Arrive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in time for check-in at Maisha Sweetwaters Camp and lunch. Later in the afternoon, head out for a game drive in the conservancy known for its abundant wildlife and rhino sanctuary. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Full Day in Ol Pejeta
Spend the entire day exploring Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Visit the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya and search for the Big Five including endangered black and white rhinos. The conservancy also offers excellent photographic opportunities. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Maisha Sweetwaters Camp.
Day 3: Ol Pejeta – Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, begin your journey north to the Samburu region, passing through the semi-arid lands of northern Kenya. Arrive at Samburu Simba Lodge for check-in and lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in the rugged and scenic Samburu National Reserve, home to elephants, lions, and the unique Samburu Special Five. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge.
Day 4: Full Day in Samburu
Enjoy a full day of wildlife viewing in Samburu, taking in the dramatic landscapes and diverse animal species. Watch for leopards lounging in the acacia trees or crocodiles in the Ewaso Nyiro River. You’ll also learn about the Samburu people's traditions and culture. Return for dinner and overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge.
Day 5: Samburu – Nairobi
After breakfast, check out and begin your scenic drive back to Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon with drop-off at your hotel or residence.
